Bugs & Fixes

  • 🐞 September 2025 – Resolved Slow Loading for Airtable-Driven Lessons

In September 2025, we resolved a performance issue affecting lessons that rely on embedded Airtable views. Previously, some Airtable-powered lessons could load slowly or appear unresponsive because data was fetched only after the page finished rendering.

To address this, we introduced a new pre-load mechanism that loads all relevant Airtable data the moment a learner enters a module. As a result, lessons that use Airtable now open instantly, with no lag or waiting time.

    Why it matters:
Airtable-driven lessons are heavily used throughout Blockready, particularly for glossaries, advanced tables, and research tools. Improving load speed reduces friction, streamlines navigation, and helps learners stay focused and engaged without unnecessary interruptions.

This fix reinforces our commitment to maintaining a fast, reliable, and responsive learning experience as the course continues to scale.

  • 🐞 March 2025 – Improved Audio Playback for All Learners

In March 2025, we introduced an important performance enhancement to improve audio playback across all Blockready course lessons. This update was driven by feedback from our global learner community and focused on making audio more reliable regardless of location or internet speed.

We identified that delayed audio start times were primarily caused by high MP3 bit rates. To resolve this, all audio files were carefully optimized and reduced in size while preserving clear, high-quality sound. This results in faster load times and smoother playback, even on slower or less stable connections.

    What improved:

    • Faster audio startup with reduced buffering
    • More reliable playback on low-bandwidth connections
    • Optimized file sizes without sacrificing sound quality

    Why it matters:
Many learners rely on audio while studying on mobile devices or in regions with limited bandwidth. Improving audio performance ensures uninterrupted learning and makes the course more accessible to learners worldwide.

This update reinforces Blockready’s commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality crypto education across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
